JOB FUNCTION:
Support and assist the bakery department through various tasks. Prospective employees should be outgoing, friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player. Most positions are initially part-time. Part-time positions may lead to full-time employment based on job performance and available openings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide outstanding customer serviceClean equipment and sanitize dailyPrepare bakery productsPack and label items for saleDecorate bakery items for sale and as requested by the customerOperate ovenStock bakery items on shelvesRecord and report accurate inventory countsAssist all customers in their shoppingOther duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years old or olderMust be able to work Saturdays and some morningsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work with othersGood interpersonal skillsGood verbal communication skillsBasic math skills are requiredPrevious experience is helpful but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
On feet 8 hours per dayLifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squattingFrequently lift 0-5 poundsOccasionally lift up to 20 poundsTYPICAL EQUIPMENT USED:
Oven, proofer, bread slicer, knives, cooking equipment, scalesBaling machine, dishwasher (some locations)WORK ENVIRONMENT:
