What You Will Do :
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Architect with a minimum of five years of dedicated experience in designing and architecting Azure-based solutions. In the role of Cloud Architect, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring a well-architected framework for production, designing scalable and secure solutions, and leading migration efforts to Azure. This entails working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects while adhering to security and compliance standards.
What You Will Need :
Bachelor's Degree is required
8+ years relevant work experience
5+ years of hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Architect.
Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, etc.
Basic hands-on knowledge of Oracle database and weblogic functions
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.
Strong familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of network and security concepts in Azure.
Excellent familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and NIST controls.
The role entails maintaining adherence to stringent security and compliance standards within Azure environments. This includes meticulous oversight of Azure Security Center and the application of Azure Policy in a FISMA HIGH and FedRAMP HIGH GovCloud environment.
The role involves crafting Azure-based solutions that seamlessly align with business requirements. These solutions prioritize scalability, availability, and robust security measures.
IaC Excellence: Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles is a core aspect of the responsibilities. This involves harnessing tools like Terraform to manifest these architectural visions.
Leading migration endeavors with expertise involves orchestrating the seamless transition of systems from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure. This encompasses both efficient lift-and-shift and innovative cloud-native migrations.
Automation scripts and workflows are wielded with precision, utilizing Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise Server, or other relevant tools. Simultaneously, there is a dedication to creating and upholding comprehensive architecture and deployment documentation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead technical discussions.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Architecture level experience with other major public cloud providers is beneficial.

Deep familiarity with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-300, AZ-301), or AZ-305 - Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
Microsoft security certifications
The annual salary range for this position is $149,700.00-$224,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
