JMT, is currently ranked #59 on Engineering News-Record's list of the Top 500 Design Firms.Position summary: Responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects including; scope, schedule and budget.Essential functions and responsibilitiesMonitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements and prepares invoices.Develop Project Management plans for assigned projectsEstablish project pricing and budgetsCreate and maintain project schedulesDevelop and maintain project specific quality plansDevelop and coordinate project scopeManage subconsultantsParticipate in client presentationsOversee and manage assigned staff working on projectManage all technical resources on the project teamDevelopment of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposalsCoordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposalsNonessential functions and responsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired SkillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering programProfessional Engineer LicenseSix (6) to 12 years' experience in specialized discipline (Aviation preferred; Heavy civil transportation required)Preferred ExperienceExperience working with local clients at the county and state level5+ years' experience working with Airport projects following FAA or DoD standardsAutoCAD Civil 3D (AutoCAD for plan set developed and Civil 3D for Surface Modeling)Project management and business development experienceExperience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3Experience managing multidiscipline project teamsWorking ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
