AnAviation Line Service Technician is responsible for guiding, towing,parking, greeting and organizing aircraft that\'s arriving or departingfrom the airport ramp along with knowing how to direct pilots usingappropriate aviation hand signals. An individual will work outside onthe ramp, inside aircraft hangers and occasionally inside and around theoffice buildings, Individuals will experience various degrees ofaircraft noises and weather conditions. Duties Include: * Marshallarriving and departing aircraft * Fuel various types of aircraft *Conduct de-icing for aircraft * Handling of aviation fuels andchemicals, including maintaining quality control of fuel through variousprocedures and completing applicable paperwork/documentation * Maintainfuel quality with industry standard practices * Facilitate aircrew andpassenger ground services * Maneuver aircraft on the ground with tugsand tractors, in a hanger or on the ramp * Maintain company equipmentand property * Ensuring the accuracy if information through variousmeans of communication (radio, telephone, electronic, etc.) * Servicingaircraft lavatories, as required * Driving vehicles in areas congestedwith moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment * Greetingpilots, passengers and crew members * Ensuring hangers, tarmac andclient areas are kept clean and orderly * Other duties assigned by theLine Service Manager Hours: * Schedule will include weekend * Expect 4days at 10-hours with 3 days off per week * Willing and able to workweekends
