Job Description
The Teams System Administrator will be a part of the Collaboration Services Team reporting directly to the Director of the group. They must be located at a NASA center three days a week with the option to work remote 2 days. The preferred location in Huntsville, Alabama. This opportunity allows the successful applicant to support NASA and it critical missions.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Works with JPM to test and add new products to the catalog.
2. Assists manger with selecting new hardware packages for use.
3. Supports Teams devices via the Microsoft control hub.
4. Remotely updates Teams, Cisco and Poly devices remotely
5. Works with local technicians to provide gear support.
6. Tracks updates coming to devices from the hardware providers.
7. Manages Cisco control hub.
8. Works with network and Exchange teams to create room accounts.
9. Manages the Poly/HP control hub.
10. Sits on the NASA 365 committee.
Basic Qualifications
Progressive experience in the AV industry.
Experience in programming AV devices.
Knowledge of Teams Poly and Cisco control panels.
Experience with security updates and knowledge of procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Certs from Crestron, Extron, Biamp etc desired. At least 10 years of experience as an AV engineer.
Strong Excel skills.
NASA/government experience.
Teams or Cisco Control panel experience.
Crestron Fusion knowledge.
