　　Team Introduction:

　　Based in Los Angeles and NYC, the Event Solution team specializes in professional LIVE streaming technology and extensive LIVE event experience. We leverage ByteDance's major LIVE products, including Volcengine - Enterprise LIVE, to deliver a comprehensive global LIVE service. Our AV team offers one-stop professional technical services, covering pre-production support, technical solution design, stage lighting, set construction, large LED screens, technical rehearsals, on-site support, sound reinforcement, directorial expertise, green screen capabilities, post-production, and event analysis. We provide complete event solutions, encompassing system design, venue construction, and technology implementation, catering to conferences, events, and LIVE streaming. 　　Responsibilities

　　- Studio Supervision and Leadership: This role will be a technical leader who would be expected to work in a key role for events, but responsibilities would extend to budget management, staffing, project tracking, equipment management, outsourcing, and the proactive establishment of updated standards for studios.

　　- Team Mentorship: help uplevel our current production level by implementing new technology, workflow, and SOPs to better service our studio clients.

　　- Quality Control: Maintain and ensure quality control of our Blackmagic ATEM production environment, with Black Magic Ursa 4K cameras, ETC Gio 5 lighting console, ETC LED Studio lights and Extron controlled facilities within a digital workflow-based environment.

　　- Technical Expertise and Innovation: Be the go-to expert for technical guidance within the team, clients, and stakeholders. Lead by conducting pre-production meetings, providing quotes, and offering technical and creative guidance.

　　- Strategic Support: Provide strategic and operational support in the research, development, and implementation of new multimedia technologies.

　　- Collaboration: Work closely with the A/V Service Desk, Service Operations, and our Network Engineering teams to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place, and processes/workflows are optimized to ensure seamless livestreams.

　　- Technical Support: Provide technical support for large event setups, including equipment troubleshooting and recommendations for repair services when needed.

　　- Versatile Expertise: Serve as surge support for various A/V positions, taking on roles such as Webcast Specialist, Technical Director, Lighting Technician, Audio Engineer, Camera Operator, and Producer.

　　- Equipment Proficiency: Become the in-house specialist on new Ross and Evertz equipment, as well as possess extensive knowledge of Blackmagic systems and Dante audio systems.

　　- Training: Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for vendor and client staff on new technologies, and workflows.

　　Qualifications

　　Requirements

　　- Technical Leadership: Have a minimum of 7 years experience as a Senior Engineer, Manager, Technical Director or Producer for large scale events or studio broadcast, you'll provide a deep understanding of live event production and streaming technology for corporate events with a speciality in either Video, Audio, Lighting, or Cameras.

　　- Studio Operations: Oversee equipment maintenance, installation, and operation within the studio and event spaces for corporate and sponsor-related events on a day-to-day basis.

　　- Rehearsal and Production: Develop and direct technical rehearsals and productions from start to finish.

　　- Innovation: Drive innovation in event broadcasting by implementing industry best practices.

　　- Team Support: Support team members and stakeholders in executing live broadcasts both in the local office and across global sites.

　　- Training: Conduct training sessions to develop team capabilities and promote a team-first mentality.

　　- Multi-Talented: Act as a camera operator, manage lighting coordination, and handle FOH sound, including A1/A2 roles.

　　- Live Streaming: Operate live video switching systems (Analog Way, Tricaster, vMix, AJA) and 3rd party integrated systems (QSC, Zoom, BirdDog, Sony, Dante, and NDI workflows).

　　- Livestream Management: Manage live streams with real-time vision and audio mixing, and monitor production feeds in-room and online.

　　- Post-Production: Be familiar with post-production services in order to recommend shooting formats, for recording and editing of high quality footage.

　　- Technology Integration: Participate in team projects and initiatives to implement new technologies.

　　- Technical Expertise: Manage both virtual and physical live event technology, including sound, lighting, and video systems.

　　- Documentation: Draft and maintain documentation, including operations, workback plans, and runsheets.

　　- Travel: Be ready to travel to TikTok offices for in-office event operation or executive support at offsite events both in the country and internationally and could be as frequent as 50% of the time.

　　[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

　　The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $104120 - $172266 annually.

　　Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
