Job Description JobSummary: As an Automation Technician you will, be a part of a dynamicteam of technicians and engineers that help support the automated lineat Rockwell Automation located in our downtown Milwaukee facility. Inthis fast-paced position you will be onsite ensuring all equipment isperforming, participate in routine preventative maintenance, andtroubleshoot failures to determine cause. Reporting to the Team Lead,you will have the tools and support necessary for your success.Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Use documented workinstructions and maintenance management software to perform semi-routinemaintenance and document work performed. Use a variety of tools,drawings and manuals to perform routine and moderately difficultmaintenance work and troubleshoot areas of concern. Respond to internalcustomer requests promptly to determine priorities for machine repair,and support. Resolve machine and process issues relating to downtime.Maintain good care of equipment and tools used, monitor spare partsinventories and make recommendations to assure availability. Recordrepair data using computer-based systems. Demonstrate increased depthand understanding of specific equipment assignments, recognizing andanticipating equipment failure indicators while supporting capabilitiesexpand beyond specific equipment assignments. Determining equipmentefficiencies for long-term use and viability, troubleshooting and repairequipment. Overtime is an essential function of this position; actualovertime hours may vary.
