  What You Will Achieve .

  You will be responsible for generating work orders and ensuring that work is completed correctly in a timely manner. Your knowledge in the domain will help in providing detailed technical training to colleagues. You will support the work team operation to ensure that applicable safety guidelines/policies are followed, and that all tasks are conducted in accordance with appropriate processing standards, such as current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

  As part of the Technical Operations team, your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

  How You Will Achieve It.

  Manage own time, professional development and be accountable for own results.

  Prioritize own workflow and assist in prioritizing the workflow of less-experienced colleagues.

  Keep accurate records as needed for solution manufacture and prepare solutions as directed by work order.

  Recognize when processes, procedures, equipment, product, commodities, etc. are out of specifications.

  Check improper use or monitoring of equipment that may result in substantial downtime, equipment and material or product loss.

  Support supervisor to execute investigations, analyze process data and identify and implement process improvements.

  Prepare regular reports and metrics from Pfizer's Learning Solution and Quality Tracking System to identify training needs and progress with the unit.

  Qualifications.

  Must-Have

  High School Diploma or GED

  4+ years of experience

  Certification in assigned area, if applicable

  Demonstrated trouble shooting capability on production equipment, including all electrical, transmission and gear drive repairs.

  Extensive generalist experience will be considered.

  Applies mechanical and electrical skills and in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing cells utilities and systems in the installation and qualification of equipment.

  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  Nice-to-Have

  Bachelor's DegreeExperience & Skills:

  Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and other countries regulatory agencies.

  Knowledge in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., preventative maintenance, work orders).

  Must be able to use tools and equipment including electronic testers, oscilloscopes, programmers, and meters to test instruments, equipment, and electronic controls.

  Experience with PLC's based systems, SCADA, and network applications. Must have sufficient knowledge of instrumentation and control system to troubleshoot malfunctions.

  Able to understand and work with computerized maintenance management systems such as: spare parts, preventive maintenance, and work orders.

  Strong electrical controls troubleshooting experience.

  Technical knowledge of utilities equipment (i.e., HVAC equipment, AHU's, VAV's, boilers, chillers etc.) and production equipment (aseptic filling machine, autoclave, freeze dryers, packaging lines, etc.)

  Must have excellent blueprint and electrical, controls, schematic/ladder logic comprehension skills.

  Ideal candidate must have process automation experience with integrated manufacturing systems and ancillary equipment.

  Familiarity with industrial communication network.

  PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  To perform all the duties required in this job description, persons must be in good physicalcondition and able to work on ladders in less than desirable areas (i.e., mechanical rooms).

  Ability to work in gown room conditions.

  Light to moderate lifting may be required for some duties. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.

  Proper PPE and safe practices must be observed.

  Requires continuous physical activity for repair, adjustment and troubleshooting of equipment/systems.

  Some areas present exposure to heat, steam, and liquids.

  Satisfactory performance and attendance are required.

  NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  Regular Work Schedule:

  Night shift (start time 1800). 12-hour schedule. Overtime work may be required. Work requires on-site presence. Occasional national/international travel for equipment factory acceptance testing, training seminars, vendor meetings, work progress meetings, etc.Non-Regular Work Schedule:

  At different times of the year, this position will work long hours for scheduled manufacturing shutdown periods and throughout the year may be required to work late with little notice as need arises when equipment is unexpectedly down.Demonstrate proficiency in cGMP, GAMP, software development life cycle, environmental, health and safety procedures to assure compliance with regulatory, policies and/or established guidelines. Observe and notify any risk situation for the environment, health, or safety. Assure that all automation engineering initiatives comply with all regulatory agency requirements.

  Available to travel local or international as needed.

  OTHER INFORMATION

  An hourly differential compensation is available for 12 HR night shift.

  This role doesn't have relocation.

  The salary for this position ranges from $22.49 to $37.49 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
