The Role
The role entails overseeing and managing the Littmann Auscultation portfolio, marketing strategies, channel strategies, and eCommerce initiatives in Asia. A comprehensive understanding of market trends and user behaviors, both online and offline, is vital for effective decision-making and achieving successful business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include leading NPI launches, managing pricing and price corridor, overseeing demand planning for accuracy, providing guidance to countries on marketing strategies and plans, and supervising program activation to stimulate demand generation and accelerate growth.
This role demands advanced skills in online and eCommerce, along with a solid grasp of branding and consumer marketing in the medical device sector. The position also involves spearheading initiatives to improve after-sales service and enhance the customer experience, including the implementation of a warranty/service program, to underscore the premium value associated with Littmann.
Key stakeholders include Country Marketing, Channel and Sales, Commercial Excellence, Global Portfolio Marketing and Global Channel Marketing, Integrated Marketing and Campaign team.
This role reports to the Activation Marketing Director for Asia, Medical Solutions Division, HCBG.
Role Accountabilities
Deliver Growth
Actively contribute to the achievement of sales and marketing plans for the Asia market and deliver on the business objectives and financial goals.
Foster lasting business expansion through the creation and implementation of marketing initiatives aimed at amplifying brand recognition, optimizing the customer experience, generating qualified traffic, boosting purchases, and driving both offline and online sales.
Product and Service Commercialization
Ensure adherence to local regulations and compliance standards for products and service aspects.
Drive new product launches by collaborating with key stakeholders to determine launch strategy, including market insights, go-to-market plan, pricing, awareness, and demand generation.
Voice of market, ideas, local needs for new products and participate on global NPI teams, as needed.
Marketing Planning and Program Activation
Lead the Asia marketing planning for Auscultation aligned with the overall Asia planning, localize global marketing plans and activate programs based on country needs and opportunities.
Provide local market and competitive intelligence and input to global teams for marketing planning and program development.
Oversee and manage area marketing budget ensuring effective program ROI.
Demand Generation
Supervise and enhance marketing campaigns across all channels, encompassing both traditional and digital strategies.
Drive brand awareness and enhancement as part of the marketing initiatives and programs across the Asia region
Regular management of activity calendar to support new product introductions and seasonal and promotional events.
Maximize current tactics and unlock new opportunities to drive growth such as retention/loyalty, affiliate & partners programs, demand generation.
Utilize data (point-of-sales, CRM, campaign analytics) to identify growth opportunities, devise customer targeting strategies, optimize campaign performance and for marking informed decisions.
Channel Marketing
Develop and implement online and offline channel marketing programs, promotions, content syndication, working hand-in-hand with country Marketing, Channel/Sales and Commercial Excellence Leaders.Product and Pricing Management
Oversee the management of product life cycle (phase in/out), in-country product inventory and demand forecasting. Provide input into the IBP process.
Be responsible for the division price and margin management, in accordance with the global pricing corridor guidance, price-value positioning and market conditions.
After Sales Service
Top of Form
Create and implement thorough strategies that integrate service warranty programs, outlining approaches to assess after-sales service and improve the overall customer experience.
Ensure clear communication of warranty terms to customers, both online and in product documentation, as part of the comprehensive plansDefine the service model for Auscultation and establish service center requirements. Implement clear and efficient warranty claim procedures to expedite issue resolution.
Proficiency in specialized domains
Demonstrate expertise in the realms of eCommerce and consumer marketing for medical devices, serving as the go-to person for country teams seeking guidance in these specific areas.
Develop and implement a comprehensive upskilling program to enhance the organization's proficiency in eCommerce and the consumer marketing approach specific to Auscultation. Drive initiatives to ensure teams are well-versed in the latest trends and strategies in this dynamic field.
Organization/Scope
Lead cross-functional collaboration with multiple country teams and engage with diverse stakeholders at the global and Asia levels to drive organizational initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Demonstrated expertise in marketing strategies for consumer-oriented portfolios within the medical device sector.
5+ years of experience in digital and ecommerce marketing, with a proven track record of brand building and driving online sales growth.
Strong understanding of ecommerce marketing channels, including paid search, display, social media, affiliate, and email marketing.
Experience managing budgets and optimizing campaigns for ROI.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and compliance.
Independent, resourceful, able to influence and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
Creative mindset with a focus on innovative marketing solutions.
Education/Location:
Degree, preferably Masters, in Marketing or Business-related disciplines
English, understood, written and spoken, is mandatory.
