The Boeing Maritime Undersea organization seeks a Senior Audio-Visual Technician to join our team located in Herndon, Virginia.
We translate customer needs into detailed requirements for system integrated designs including system architectures for current operations and program growth, facility design, hardware selection, software selection and software development, system integration, system testing, and operations and maintenance (O&M).
As a member of this team, you are an integral part in developing network and software solutions for proprietary programs for our client.
Position Responsibilities:
Upload and troubleshoot control system files (Cisco Hyperflex, Network Virtualization, Crestron, Thinklogical).Upload, modify, and troubleshoot audio Digital Signal Processor files (Biamp, QSC, ...).Install, configure, and troubleshoot large scale Audio, Video, and USB systems (Creston, Extron, Thinklogical).Perform system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and upgrades of servers to support an operational network architecture.Perform product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness.Evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security, and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments.Plan and coordinate complex network software and hardware for enterprise release.Ensure systems conform to architectural objectives.Evaluate complex system production readiness and supportability.Perform complex system problem identification and resolution.Identify, evaluate, and document computing system requirements; design, build, and test delivery systems and components.Evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security, and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments.Provide technical support and consultation for implementation and usage of delivery systems.Develop system design artifacts using CAD or Visio; signal flow diagrams, equipment elevations, BOMs, and configuration guides.
In order to meet security standards and protocols, all work is performed onsite in Herndon, VA.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Current Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).5+ years of experience in Audio-Visual systems.5+ years of experience in communicating with customer representatives in a variety of forums, in both written and spoken form, regarding technical subjects.
Typical Education & Experience:
Lead (level 4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
Senior (level 5):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead (level 4):129,200 - 174,800
Senior (level 5):154,700 - 209,300
