Description
The Engineering, Integration and Operations business area of Leidos has an opening for an ATCALS and C2 Technician. Working at a site or sites in southwest Asia, the appointed individual assigned to this must possess the qualifications to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair standard ground radar and airfield systems and equipment platforms. This includes air traffic control radars, ground aircraft control and warning radar systems, air traffic control radios, meteorological, and navigational aid systems. They are responsible for resolving installation, repair, and modification issues associated with ATCALS and C2 equipment, employing line-of-sight and tropospheric scatter techniques.
In the course of their duties, they conduct tests to restore and maintain systems, utilizing layout drawings, schematics, and pictorial diagrams to troubleshoot and ensure proper equipment positioning. The individual analyzes the construction and operating characteristics of equipment to identify the source of malfunctions and performs intricate alignment and calibration procedures to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with maintenance management publications and procedures, as well as enforcing safety standards for system maintenance activities, are crucial aspects of their role. They verify installed and repaired components for compliance with technical publications, maintain inspection and maintenance records, and document meter readings and other pertinent data in equipment logs. Maintain systems are such as DME, ILS, MMLS, MPN-23, UPS, RCSU-2238, TACAN, TRN44, VOR, RSI/RCI or equivalent monitoring equipment, FMQ-19, FMQ-23, Micro-EARTS, Multi Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT), NRTD, STARS, STRAP, TDX-2000, MARK IVB, NEXION, Terminal Advisory System (TAS), GPN-27(or 20), MPN-25, TPS-75, UPX-27, UPX-37, UPX-44A, CM-200, CM-300, GRC-171 & 211, GRR-23/24, PCAS, GRT-21/22, ETVS, Liberty Star, PL-2000DT, PRC-117, RT-1319, TRC-214, TRC-176, URC-200, ATIS, DVRS, TTRS, ATCALS Systems and Associated Support Equipment, ATC Weather Systems/Associated Support Equipment, and Regional Maintenance Center O&M/ Support Equipment.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Education: High School diploma or GED. Relevant Associate’s degree preferred. Formal electronics training such as: military technical training school, vocational college, and/or a four (4) year electronics apprentice program with experience in electronics equipment the technician will maintain. Experience: Level I tech – 4 years of recent, relevant, and practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain and oversee. Level II tech – 6 years of recent, relevant, and practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain and oversee. Certifications Required:

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
