Primary responsibilities are centered around development and transfer of new product methods into Alcon QC. Use in-depth knowledge of relevant guidance/regulatory documents, perform and lead non-routine testing activities to include chemistry method validations and method transfers, ensuring required quality and safety standards are being met for our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:Utilizing a strong background in Analytical Chemistry with emphasis in other techniques (i.e. GC, IC, and HPLC)Perform routine and complex analysis of raw materials, finished goods, products, packaging components, complaints, investigations per schedule and per standards/SOPsCollect, calculate, and interpret test resultsEnter and report test resultsWrite and take ownership for SOPs and ATP's related to testing programs, laboratory operations and/or equipment operationWrite/review/approve validation protocols and technical reportsExecute analytical method development, validation and method/product transfer protocolsComplete investigator training, perform basic investigations and assist with more complex investigations.
