The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment, while working creatively in all phases of the software development life cycle. Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for Associate UX Designer to join their team in Bangalore, India.
Position Responsibilities:
Participate with higher level analyst/designer on project teams to create effective, usable, and satisfying user experiences with information technology.
Participate in user-centered design activities, including creating journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
Participate in conducting user research through interviews, field studies and surveys.
Assist in the definition of user requirements and usability goals.
Support and aid in the creation of user interaction design alternatives and the building of prototypes
Participate in conducting usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and other reviews to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of designs.
Diagnoses simple usability issues and recommends changes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have experience in most of the core UX skill areas for simplifying user experience, especially with a product-industry background.
Must have experience in motion and interaction design.
Must be a self-starter with positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside.
Must have experience in development of solutions through brainstorming, sketching, and creation of mockups and prototypes, regularly seeking feedback from the team.
Must have experience in participating and leading UX research activities.
Must have hands-on work experience creating prototypes in Figma.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to analyze and prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, UX specifications.
Must have experience in coordinating with various stakeholders viz product owners, business analysts, development, and QA teams across multiple time-zones.
Must have experience in working with front end developers to ensure first time quality. Must have strong teambuilding skills.
Must have experience in reviewing results of surveys and analytics to understand the impact on the products.
6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in UX (User Experience).
Candidates with experience in Aviation domain will be preferred.
Experience working in a global organization is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in conducting user interviews and usability tests.
Experience leveraging Apple HIG design standard or Google’s Material Design standards for web apps.
Experience in creating and management of atomic design systems.
Experience in UX for e-commerce platforms
Experience with Salesforce Lightning design system and designing in support of Salesforce products.
Typical Education Experience:
Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:
