Documents, communicates and suggests remedies for disputed issues/defects using defined standards. Works with cross functional teams in highly collaborative manner. Uses test tools, test methodology, best practices and standard quality assurance processes to deliver functional, deployable, supportable and maintainable products and services.
Duties and responsibilities
Demonstrates solid attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work as a team
Implements test cases/scripts and analyzing outcomes
Performs testing and document the actual results & Participates in all aspects of defect tracking
Develops test scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, component, assembly, or performance tests.
Participates in the QA process that validates fixes and ensures follow through to all test cycles
Advises the Tester and/or Expert of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
Reports bugs for analysis while also detailing test results & metrics
Communicates execution status to the Expert
Coordinates testing execution and results and works with Tester and Expert as needed
Maintains information in appropriate testing tools!
Formal mentorship concluded. Increased complexity of assignments - augmentation and/or independent segment owner Moderate complexity assignments - augmentation (1 or >) or owner. Low complexity assignments - owner (1 or >) Ability to see whole picture.
Product Knowledge and Understanding: Functional knowledge of testing
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with no experience; or equivalent work experience
Demonstrates solid written and oral communication skills
Has strong organizational skills
Solid understanding of Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
Understanding of Acxiom products and services!
Solid knowledge and experience using core testing skills:
Review the testability of requirements, design, and development functions
Crafts test data for testing purposes
Implements automated and manual testing scripts to complete client testing requirements
Documents and reports test results both internally and to external clients
Ability to identify defects and implement defect tracking, less complex test cases
Demonstrates knowledge of basic SQL functions
Completes required training
The general expectation is that an associate will remain at this level for no more than 2 years
