Lead the development of sound and vibration measurement, simulation and vehicle simulation technology to solve complex customer problems.Understand, assess and decompose noise, vibration, and harshness ( NVH) requirements and assess NVH simulation results (Campbell diagram, waterfall diagram, modal analysis, transfer path analysis, etc.).Identify and coordinate external/internal testing for NVH and measure airborne sound and structure-borne vibration.Develop NVH best practices, evaluate designs to the best practices, and coordinate with related groups on NVH topics.Communicate NVH topics including technical proposals and explanations with customers.Support and train test engineers in data acquisition and analysis, and support NVH testing that occurs at outside test lab both within and outside of Schaeffler.*Your Qualifications*
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer.Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.Understanding of modelling and simulating of electric or mechatronic systems.Clear communication ability (written & verbal).Good presentation skills.Continuous improvement approach.Ability to prioritize and make recommendation and decisions.Extremely self-motivated & motivated to achieve results.*Our Offering*
