  KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Strategic Event Delivery to join our Events and Meetings team.

  Responsibilities:Participate in the development and execution of in-person, virtual and hybrid programs and events that support stakeholder and firm objectives; develop event objectives and budgets, manage all logistics, and track and report metrics involved with meetings or eventsPlan and execute on events or programs to include but not limited to: project time lines, budgeting and approvals, data analysis and reporting, research and sourcing, support of agenda development, virtual platform support and logistics managementWork as part of the planning team on large scale programs to support the event objectives and logistics; support internal client's strategic initiatives by working with multiple stakeholders to connect program concepts and strategyCollaborate and manage deliverables with other internal departments and external vendors, to include, but not limited to: contracting and compliance, graphic design and production, marketing, communications, national purchasing, learning operations, campus recruiting and specialty item vendorsMaintain integrity around compliance and controls and adhere to risk management using firm-supported toolsPartner with Events and Meetings colleagues to share industry updates, promote best practices, drive synergies and consistency, and foster a culture of innovation to highlight a client-centric approachQualifications:Minimum one year of recent experience in events and meeting planning, preferably within a professional services firmBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experienceStrong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills to support an environment driven by client focus, teamwork and building productive relationshipsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to travel up to 30% annually

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations. Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, KPMG provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year. Additionally, each year the firm publishes a calendar of holidays to be observed during the year and provides two firmwide breaks each year where employees will not be required to use Personal Time Off; one is at year end and the other is around the July 4th holiday.
