We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Project Manager to join the organization to manage the scope, time, and finances of small projects while working with leadership and business partners to achieve business objectives in the delivery of projects. Projects may include cloud implementations/migrations, data center transformations/migrations, platform service development and deployment, and other strategic or tactical initiative
About the Role
In this opportunity as Associate Project Manger, you will:
Drive technical projects with supervision where needed (low complexity) through all phases of planning and execution to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the agreed upon scope.Partner with Project Manager(s) or Senior Project Manager(s) to drive specific portions of a larger projects or programs for varying phases of planning or execution.Facilitate planning for project teams to determine and define project scope and objectives, develop detailed project plans and schedules, and drive execution plans through to completion.Identify, assess, and manage risks & issues to the success of the project, demonstrating sound judgment when escalation is required.Monitor progress and manage change control procedures gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project stakeholders and ensuring full impact of significant changes are understood by project stakeholders.Manage project-specific budgets to ensure visibility, accuracy, and fidelity of the plan and forecast in alignment with the finance organization.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.• Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships across organizational boundaries.Communicate clear and transparent project updates to varying stakeholder audiences in both verbal and written formats.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Associate Project Manager if your background includes:
1+ years of Project Management experience specifically in IT project management.Demonstrated achievements in planning and executing projects on time, within budget, and with desired functionality.Proven work ethic with an ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and a high degree of professionalism.Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust and influence the actions/decisions of others.Operating with virtual/global teams, effectively adapting to local operating models and culture.Some experience with Delivery Tracking tools (Azure DevOps), MS PowerBI, Excel, and Asset Management tools (ServiceNow) and/or similar application suites.Bachelor's degree preferred.Platform infrastructure and cloud knowledge preferred.PMP or AMP certification preferred or working knowledge and demonstrated execution of project management delivery methodologies and frameworks.
