How will you make an impact?
As an Associate Project Manager I - Quoting Team, you will be part of our great BioProduction Cell Culture Inquiry to Order (ITO) Customer Excellence team. You will be responsible for managing custom business and serving the customer, sales and operations through the cross-functional execution of orders and services with the primary focus on relationship building and delivering a superior customer experience.
Location: Onsite at Grand Island, NY
What will you do?
Collaborate with cross functional partners to ensure timely and accurate processing of product brief submissions (Feasibility, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Formulations, Accounting, Pricing, BioProduction and CO&S team members) Ensure Service Level Agreements are met for all customer inquiries for given territorial assignments.Serve as the customer advocate throughout internal processes. Troubleshoot, escalate and resolve issues and risks jeopardizing customer commitments. Communicate action plans and resolution to customer in a timely manner. Meet BioProduction business objectives around order quote and approval document turnaround time, customer service level targets, and revenue goals. Run reports, analyze data, develop presentations, support and/or lead customer conference calls, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.Mentor and train Jr. Customer Experience Specialists and support ITO leads with project tasks, operational reporting and commercial engagement initiatives.Has contact with all levels of company employees and external customers.
The Project Manager applies basic and complex principles, concepts, practices and standards of the cell culture BioProduction field to complete standard tasks and assignments, works under general direction using discretion to complete tasks, frequently solves problems through research of multiple alternatives, builds stable working relationships with internal and external contacts, and impacts the immediate workgroup through accuracy of tasks and information provided.
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor's degree (Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, and Engineering), or High School diploma with ten years of biotechnology experience.
Experience
5+ years' experience in a customer-facing environment and working technical knowledge of the biotechnology industry including the basics of project management methodologies. Successful candidate will also have a minimum of one-year experience working for the BioProduction Group (BPG) in a customer facing role.

Successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas:written and verbal communicationsinterpersonal cross functional team-based interactionorganizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving. Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.
Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment. May, on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $41,100.00-$55,000.00.
