Stryker's Trauma business unit is hiring an Associate Project Manager to lead assigned new product development projects from kick-off to market release. Associate Project Managers have accountability and authority for achieving a project's objectives. They direct a multi-disciplinary team aiming to complete a project. The Trauma PMO team is part of the R&D organization.

What You Will Do
Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop (sub-)project charter and management plan. Recommend tradeoffs within project.Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with management for approval. Outline major workstreams.Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline. Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart. Manage a (sub-)project timeline.Execute assigned (sub-)project from discovery/feasibility to market launch under supervision. Coordinate and drive completion of design control and business milestones under supervision.Regularly report status of assigned (sub-)project to key stakeholders and management (critical path and timeline performance, overall project and resource health, accomplishments, risks and issues, next steps).Create a risk register and management plan for the (sub-)project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop (sub-)project risk response plan.Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define and monitor project resource and budget needs.Develop a (sub-)project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Define the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member. Work with cross-functional managers to provide input to functional performance reviews.Measure project team satisfaction after completion of (sub-)project. Help organize and conduct lessons learned sessions with key stakeholders. Help drive improvements based on stakeholder feedback.Help establish and maintain PMO tools, trackers, and product launch roadmaps to provide visibility and enable project prioritization and resourcing.
