Role Overview
Thomson Reuters LegalTech Product team creates trusted and innovative product experiences for the rapidly changing Legal industry. We are accelerating innovation across the entire legal and justice stack, redefining the experiences and opportunities for businesses of all sizes, from consumer products to growth for SMBs to Global Corporates, law firms and Governments. We aim to achieve greater impact, advocating for legal change and improving access to justice.
The Associate Product Manager is a passionate learner and self-starter who is aspiring to be a Product Manager. They are creative problem-solvers who show foundational skills with the ability to assess customer problems, business needs, opportunities and offer solutions to support the PM team. They need the energy to thrive in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment and understand that this role is a learning role, just as it's a 'doing' role. A person in this job is expected to grow quickly, build skills to further their impact and drive end-to-end product management with the support and mentorship of more senior Product Managers and Leaders.
About the Role
As an Associate Product Manager, you will:
Develop strong product intuition by interpreting and assessing customer problems, business needs and opportunities and offering potential solutions with a moderate level of guidance and direction.Build world class capabilities and products by contributing and helping maintain the product roadmap and partnering closely with dev team and UX to execute the roadmap and deliver efficiently. This includes serving as the customer voice for the engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value, and using metrics to monitor and measure progress.Demonstrate leadership by taking extreme ownership for a feature/product, its performance and reliability, and delighting our clients with a positive experience. You will show that you can learn from your experiences, recover from setbacks, and effectively evangelize the product vision to colleagues. In order to be successful in achieving these goals, you will be:Curious & Innovative, starting with an obsession for our customers' problems and needs and then working closely with customers, partners, and other Thomson Reuters colleagues to solve them in unique waysAgile with a strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver solutions against strict timelines; unafraid of failureAn effective communicator who projects confidence and communicates concisely and clearly to management, peers, customers and partners.
