  Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Associate Product Acceptance Specialists to support the 787 Quality Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

  Position Responsibilities :

  Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.

  Provides objective evidence of results.

  Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.

  Identifies and documents discrepancies.

  Segregates and controls non-conforming items.

  Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.

  Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.

  Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC site.

  This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.

  1+ years of experience as Quality Inspector or similar responsibilities position.

  Must obtain Fall Protection Certification & Confined Space Certification

  Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently

  Must be able to bend and stoop

  Must be able to use boom lift mobile lift and scissor lift

  Must be able to perform all aspects of this job

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  3+ years of manufacturing experience

  Proficient in the use of quality/production systems

  Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

  Must be proficient in all forms of EPD generation. (NC/PU/SRR/Simple Repair/PU Revision/ NCR, etc…)

  1+ years of experience in providing on MFPP

  1+ years of experience in perform FOD & Tool control compliance checks

  Proficient in the use of quality/production systems

  Must be proficient in all forms of EPD generation. (NC/PU/SRR/Simple Repair/PU Revision/ NCR, etc…)

  1+ years of experience in providing input/oversight/support on MFPP

  Typical Education/Experience:

  Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

  Relocation:

  Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Safety Sensitive:

  This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) random drug and alcohol testing.

  Shift Work Statement:

  This position is for 2nd shift.

  Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range: $46,750 - $63,250

  Export Control Requirements: U.S. Government Export Control Status: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.

  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
