  Primary Responsibilities:

  Willing to work in a very busy office Greeting and checking in patients Check patients out Collecting copays - cash handling through checking insurance eligibility Entering demographics and insurance in Allscript Practice Management (APM) Answering phones Complete tasks needed to help medical assistants and providers Providing superb customer service Be a team player, willing to help wherever needed Friendly demeanor over the phone and in person Multi-task on several projects throughout the day while paying close attention to detail Handling walk-ins Other duties as assigned Reliability

  You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

  Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience

  Required Qualifications:

  1+ years of customer service experience 6+ months medical office experience Proven excellent phone etiquette

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Background using EMR or EHR (electronic medical records/electronic health records) Insurance eligibility processing experience Knowledge of medical insurances (HMO, PPO, Medicare & etc.) Bilingual Spanish/English
