The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for greeting patients as they come into the clinic, answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls to schedule patients for their annual exam, check patients in for their appointment, insurance eligibility, collect copays, scanning documents, and scheduling other appointments. Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 4:15pm
Location: 20414 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85027
Primary Responsibilities:
Greets patients and visitors in a friendly and sincere manner Confirms with patient that patient demographic information is accurate Provides new and established patients with all necessary paperwork, i.e., new patient forms, physical forms, etc. Scans patient insurance cards and photo id into the medical record Provides new patients with information brochure, advance directives, notice of privacy practices form, and release of information form Answers telephone and provides information/assistance or routes caller to appropriate staff member Takes phone or visitor messages and delivers to appropriate individual Calls patients to change appointments as schedule changes require Schedules patient appointments Assists office manager with monitoring office supplies Performs other related duties as required

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 1+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone Beginner level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience working in a medical office Background using EMR or EHR (electronic medical records/electronic health records) Knowledge of medical insurances (HMO, PPO, Medicare & etc.) Knowledge of Insurance eligibility Bilingual Spanish/English
