Follow us on Twitter @BNYMellon or visit our newsroom at for the latest company news.This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA with a hybrid work arrangement.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Assist attorneys in providing legal services to the Clearance and Collateral Management business.Draft new client contracts along with amendments and restatements for existing client agreements to document complex legal relationships and commercial terms.Assist with drafting, filing and maintaining department form agreements.Process client requests by obtaining relevant information and asking pertinent questions.With general oversight, conduct fact-finding and legal or regulatory research and prepare findings for review by attorneys.Support outside counsel engagements, by arranging critical exchange of information and reviewing incoming documents for relevance and proper dispensation.Maintain and update document files and electronic documentation systems to preserve and protect sensitive client and firm information.Contribute to achievement of firm and department objectives.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal Certificate or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.1-3 years paralegal experience, preferred.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to deliver a timely work product.Proven planning, tracking, and organizational skills.Flexible and adept in adjusting priorities and adjusting to change.Supportive of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.Excellent Microsoft Office software and Outlook.Excellent Powerpoint skills and ability create documents with graphs and charts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Team player.Active listening skills.Cooperative attitude.Ability to function independently.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Demonstrated initiative, self-motivated and high work standards.Highest standards of integrity and ethicsAt BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
