Boeing Ukraine Engineering & Technology Center is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner - Production & Industrial Engineering Team.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition.
Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues.
Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.
Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Supports other team members as mentor/checker to meet engineering commitments.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Secondary Technical School Diploma with Manufacturing or Mechanics Technologist profile with 3+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry with 1+ years of experience.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret Engineering documentation - Engineering drawings and Specifications.
Knowledge of PLM/PDM and Configuration Management principles;
Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations;
Knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., Concurrent Engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A]);
Knowledge of tool functions and capabilities (e.g., indexing, fixturing, handling) to support the manufacturing processes and flow.
English language level – intermediate or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry;
3+ years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing production environment, experience with entire value stream of detail part to assembly integration value stream.
Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables;
Basic knowledge of aerospace products development lifecycle and Lean production system principles;
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) ASME Y14.5-2018, ASME Y14.5-2009 standards.
Basic knowledge of the processes and procedures for certification of aircraft, including Federal Aviation Authority [FAA] and foreign regulatory agency (e.g., EASA) requirements;

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Ph.D., Master+3 years' related work experience).
