What we do:
The Associate Manager, Order Management will report to the Manager, Order Management. The Associate Manager, Order Management will be an integral part of the Global Revenue Accounting and Operations Team with a focus on Order Management including compliance with company policies and procedures. Order Management works closely with partners in Deal Desk, Sales, Finance, and Legal to close customer deals efficiently. This position will aid in managing a team that focuses on the customer onboarding experience (e.g., customer setup, contract review, and pricing) and compliance. You'll ensure deals and requests are processed quickly by the team and in compliance with company requirements and quality expectations. As an order processing expert, you will develop improvements in processes, workflows, systems and provide training.
What you'll do:
Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 Order Management ("OM") Analysts providing feedback and guidance in accordance with the policies and practices in the OM Playbook.Understand procedures required to set up customers to spend in the TTD Platform including establishment of fees in accordance with the contract and specifications for invoicing including handling of purchase order requests and managing discrepancies.Review OM Analysts work product including (but not limited to) summary of key contract terms and accurate update of customers fee sheets in appropriate systems and ensure requests from external parties are being resolved in accordance with expectations or escalated timely. Review escalations of operational feasibility issues in draft contracts. Communicate operational challenges as well as establish a process addressing those challenges to the Deal Desk. Assist with workflow improvements, including process and systems including the development of our requirements and coordinating systems testing.Own the OM Playbook by ensuring it is accurate and complete covering applicable scenarios for training and compliance.Facilitate an efficient customer onboarding experience with a focus on high level of customer service, managing speed and accuracy by handling escalations from OM Analysts.Review monthly management reports and ensure that the OM team addresses and resolves customer setup or operational issues.Support the global Deal Desk leadership to deliver consistent and exceptional support to our sales organization.Collaborate cross-functionally to investigate and respond to inquiries regarding contracts and customer set-ups.Collaborate and support subject matter experts relative to key systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce & Billing Platform).Coordinate internal and external audit selection fulfillment requests among analysts.Provide guidance and support for the appropriate application of customer agreement Delegation of Authority (DOA) and sales approval grids.Perform other duties and projects as assigned when needed to support the business.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant experience. 5+ years of related office experience in one of the following areas: Client contracts, Order Management, Administrative Sales Support, General Accounting and Invoicing, or Customer Service.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel) required.Excellent customer service skills.Strong attention to deal and focus on compliance.Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.Ability to thrive in time-sensitive environment and easily adapt to shifts in priorities. Ability to juggle multiple high priorities in a fast-paced environment and have a willingness to learn.Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.Team player mindset, working with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way.Understanding of contractual concepts, and familiarity with standard legal terms.Ability to make quality decisions in a fast-paced environment.Leverages the abilities of the team to deliver results.Views complex assignments as a challengeExperience with Oracle, Salesforce, DocuSign, Incorta, and Jira is a plus.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$62,300 -$114,300
In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
