Job description
As a Cyber Security Assurance Associate Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, compliance, and resilience of our information technology systems. You will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in assessing, analyzing, and evaluating security controls, policies, and procedures to identify vulnerabilities and risks, as well as providing recommendations for remediation and continuous improvement. Your work will contribute directly to our commitment to protecting sensitive data and maintaining the trust of our stakeholders.
What you will do:
Security Assessment and Auditing:
Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, policies, and procedures against industry standards and best practices.
Risk Analysis:
Identify and assess cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's technology environment.Develop risk mitigation strategies and prioritize remediation efforts.
Communications:
Effectively and tenaciously work with global IT business partners, business system owners, IT Systems owners to drive compliance with Stryker and Regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).Assist in maintaining and renewing compliance certifications.
Security Metrics and Reporting
Generate and maintain security-related metrics and reports for management.Present findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.Contribute to the enhancement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.Drive pivotal programs for the CyberSecurity team to improve security posture and decrease risk through proactive approaches to CyberSecurity Data Analytics.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum 6 years experience in CyberSecurity roles with increasing responsibility.Proven experience in cybersecurity assurance, risk assessment, or similar roles.Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent.Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security.
