About the role:
Are you an aspiring Knowledge Management (KM) professional? Join us as an Associate KM Specialist, where you'll contribute to larger projects, manage tasks effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders. In this role, you'll work with a group of professionals to build knowledge-centric processes, feedback mechanisms, and report insights.

In this role, you will: Craft clear and concise KB articles to support the refinement and expansion of the KM library Collaborate closely with team members to enhance knowledge-sharing processes Assist in the development and implementation of knowledge management strategies Contribute to the design and execution of surveys and key performance indicators (KPIs) Play a key role in the continuous improvement of our knowledge management framework Actively participate in technology-driven initiatives, incorporating AI and other innovative solutions Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Minimum requirements for the role:
Bachelor's degree in Technical or Professional Writing, Information Management, Communication Studies, or Business Administration 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of knowledge management, technical documentation, or similar fields Proficiency in crafting clear and concise KB articles and documentation, demonstrating the ability to convey complex information in an easily understandable manner, while maintaining accuracy and relevance Ability to manage and coordinate tasks effectively, collaborating with one or more SMEs. Familiarity with one or more CMS or KMS systems An ideal candidate also is:
Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk, Tableau, or similar tools Proficient in support-focused or knowledge-focused AI tech Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.
We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.
The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$51,765—$87,000 USD
