Overview We are seeking an Associate Finance Manager to join the Investor Relations team. The Investor Relations team is the face of General Mills (GIS) to the investment community. Our key responsibilities include communicating GIS' strategy, results and shareholder proposition to investors as well as providing investor perspectives back to management and business teams to drive decisions that maximize shareholder value. In this role, you will have the opportunity to regularly engage with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members while developing communications for quarterly earnings and investor conferences. In addition, you be able to advance our engagement with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investors, co-lead our peer insights efforts, as well as coach and develop a direct report from the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). This experience will help you develop skills and capabilities that are critical for future senior finance leaders, including strategic communication, external orientation, finance acumen, and enterprise advocacy. Key Accountabilities Lead, coach and develop an analyst from the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). Partner with Segment leadership, Corporate P&A, and Corporate Financial Reporting to understand, and communicate business results to external stakeholders in a clear and compelling way. Prepare quarterly earnings and conference materials for CEO, CFO and other members of the senior leadership team, including press releases, presentations, scripts, as well as question and answers preparation. Partner with Global Impact Team leadership to advance our ESG outreach strategy and investor engagement. Lead the Peer Insights team to embed and deliver external perspective within the finance function. Prepare analytics including Consensus estimate comparisons, prospective investor targeting, shareholder base analytics. Create reporting for GMI Board of Directors to brief them on market, investor, and industry trends. Engage with internal business teams and functions to enhance understanding of shareholder value and investor sentiment. Minimum Qualifications Exceptional communications skills, including written communications. Acts with urgency and a demonstrated track record of delivering results. Ability to build trusting relationships and effectively navigate across the organization. Strong Financial Acumen, including interconnection of financial statements. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Prior experience or interest to learn about equity markets, enterprise strategy, and financial reporting. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $90100.00 - $135300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role.
