What You Will Do:
The Repair Technician, Demo's and Trials is responsible for providing technical repair and quality control support for the Demo fleet of products that exceeds our customer expectations. In this role, you will:
Provide effective, proficient, and timely quality inspections, technical repairs and staging of high-profile products to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.Perform Quality Control inspections on equipment after repair.Respond to all incoming calls, e-mails and voice mails in a timely and professional manner providing new and existing product information to internal customers using knowledge of products, tooling, and documentation.Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.Provide clients/peers with technical training.Assist in the development of new service procedures and in making the department ready to service and support newly launched product.Validate, maintain, and regularly calibrate all tools and fixtures.Lift and move medium and heavier weight items up to 50 pounds.Collaborate with the Sales Coordinators to ensure the timely repair of demo product.Enter parts and replenishment stock into the system and maintain accurate inventory levels for demo parts and accessories.Maintain detailed records of passed and failed devices.Execute inventory cycle/physical counts when required and respond to weekly inventory monitor reports.Maintain Function Check training matrix, SOP's and equipment calibration schedule.Investigate all CEF's and provide root cause, corrective action, analyze and trend data.Assemble new product and prepare product for delivery.Travel up to 25% of the time (overnight) for Field service calls and customer support.
What You Need:
Required:
Post-Secondary Diploma from a Technical School in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical2 years of related technical experience in field
Preferred:
University Degree
Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered.
