About Associate Engagement and Culture Coordinator - DF147

  We are seeking an Associate Engagement and Culture to promote Travel Incorporated's culture and values through the development and organization of a variety of training opportunities, meetings, engagement activities and other key initiatives. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with an eye for detail with strong organizational skills who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize, plan, and execute initiatives to build culture and engagement across the organization.

  This position is on-site at our Duluth, GA headquarters.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:Works with leadership to determine annual calendar of events including hybrid visits, training events, departmental/functional meetings, FAM trips, virtual and onsite social engagements and other key initiatives.Ensures adherence to schedule and demonstrates accountability for achieving milestones and accomplishing tasks in a timely, efficient and quality manner.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and objectives for each event.Oversees all logistical aspects of events including accommodations, local transportation, catering, event materials and social activities.Arranges social components of associate meetings including planning, logistics, execution and participation as needed to ensure smooth and enjoyable events.Collaborates with the Financial Services department to identify appropriate venues and vendors, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure high quality and cost-effective event fulfillment.Ensures successful engagement through communication and management of event details, agendas and relevant updates to leadership and associates using appropriate communication modes/channels.Collaborates with Marketing to create engaging content for internal communication channels including newsletters, emails, Company Intranet and social media postings seeking appropriate input and approvals from leadership and key departments.Coordinates charitable activities and partnerships in alignment with the company's values and community outreach goals.Facilitates associate participation in volunteer opportunities and charitable events tracking and reporting on the impact of charitable initiatives to showcase the company's commitment to the community.Surveys associates and utilizes feedback from associates engagement to initiate and drive change to further align associates with the goals of the Company.Prepares drafts of articles, postings and other communications pertinent to HR and general company topics.Cross trains and provides support for all HR functions including administration, recruitment, compensation, benefits and other areas as assigned.Maintains knowledge of HR, Financial Services and other Company policies and practices, monitors events and activities for compliance, and addresses or escalates issues as appropriate.Recommends, documents and implements new or updated practices to improve associate experience and streamline processes related to associate activities and engagement.Complies with all department, company and security practices and procedures and maintains confidentiality.Performs other duties as assigned.

  QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, communications, human resources or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.EXPERIENCE: 2 years prior experience in event planning, associate engagement, communications, travel, HR or related field preferred.TECHNOLOGY: Exceptional computer skills including MS Office or Google Suite, general systems and internet use, spreadsheets, project management, and graphics/presentations.PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION: Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize in order to complete tasks and meet demands of department and internal customers.COMMUNICATION: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including listening, understanding the audience, and demonstrating proper grammar, usage and structure in written communications; enthusiastic about creating a positive workplace culture and fostering associate engagement.CUSTOMER SERVICE: Strong customer service skills to internal and external customers demonstrating a sense of urgency in meeting their needs; provides regular communication and follow-up to ensure that needs are met and expectations exceeded.TEAMWORK: Demonstrates a high degree of teamwork; Works with others to solve problems, improve processes and meet needs of internal and external constituents; builds rapport, establishes trust, and pitches in to assist teammates and department.INITIATIVE: High initiative; thinks on feet; recognizes and addresses needs without being directed; functions well in ambiguous situations balancing between determining what needs to be done and seeking guidance as appropriate.RELIABILITY: Dependable, trustworthy, and responds to requests for a variety of clients and completes tasks within assigned deadlines.PROBLEM SOLVING: Demonstrate creativity and problem solving abilities; identifies problems, researches solutions and implements ideas while seeking appropriate levels of approval.ADAPTABILITY: Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth oriented organization. Displays a willingness to learn.DECISION MAKING SKILLS: Understands the decision-making process as well as limits in authority level. Seeks guidance from leaders when necessary.
