As an Associate Director, Technical Project Manager you will manage the following:
Initiate, develop, and manage the TRD product and process development project plan for prioritized GSK vaccines in development, and drive integration of technical and business goals to deliver development projects, from receipt of research targets through commercial validation, in line with financial, technical, quality and compliance targets.
Your responsibilities:In partnership with the Technical Development Leader (TDL), you form and lead cross functional technical teams for the purpose of developing and executing product and process development plans that successfully achieve TRD commitments to the development and licensing of vaccines in the GSK Vaccines pipeline.You align with TRD Functions on the resourcing (manpower, buildings and budget) of technical projects.Through the application of disciplined project management practices, Quality by Design principles, and PDVS requirements, you drive the delivery of technical project commitments on time and within cost and resource constraints.In partnership with the TDL and project team, you define, monitor, and mitigate project risks to ensure key project milestones are met.You define and implement a project communication plan to ensure timely and accurate flow of information within the team, to key stakeholders, and senior management, including a proactive escalation process.You provide clear project management leadership, and drive accountability among project team members.You drive the assembly and review of information packages to support key decisions in the product life-cycle.You establish and clearly communicate the technical development progress and anticipate issues. You act as project team representative for the purpose of capacity and prioritization governance.You collaborate with the TRD Business Architecture team to drive harmonization and operational excellence in project management across TRD, including implementation of project management tools.You collaborate with the TRD Business Architecture team to identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve project outputs, project teamwork and business processes.You lead timely and accurate reporting of project progress and risks in collaboration with the TDL, TRD Business Operations team and other teams.You lead project operating budget development and forecast update processes in collaboration with the TRD functions, TDL, TRD Business Operations team and other teams. We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:University degree in Life or physical sciences, or engineering8 years of experience in the field of project management in lifesciences or related industryLife or physical sciences, or engineeringPMP certification preferred, but not required if relevant project management experience can be demonstratedDemonstrated successful project management skillsLanguages: English proficiency required (verbal and written)Preferred qualifications:
