Associate Director, Supply Chain - PhilippinesThe Associate Director Supply Chain works in a matrixed environment to support the manufacturing and delivery of a variety of product lines manufactured in our facility located in the Philippines. This position is not only responsible for the specific duties and responsibilities directly related to supply chain; he/she is also responsible for having a thorough understanding of the overall business plan and long-term sales and marketing strategy so he/she can ensure that the supplier base is capable of supporting the future of the business. Strong people and leadership traits along with the ability work collaboratively with peers locally and across the global organization are essential to the success of this positionPrimary Responsibilities:
Must work collaboratively with Supply Chain leadership globally, onsite operations, and business leadership globally to develop a supply chain management strategy to support growth/expansion within cost and schedule targetsResponsible for working with the business unit supply chain leaders to ensure that operational targets are met.Defines systems and large scale processes; Provides strategy and direction to local team for collaboration with channel partners including suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers and customers. Drives standard work.Supports and monitors adherence of import, export & excise regulation as per compliance.Partners with the SC Leadership Team to Coach, mentor, and grow a multi-cultural and multi-national high potential teamSupports development strategic relationships with a targeted existing and new global supplier baseMaintain a focus on overall global commodities with an understanding of the needs to meet local sourcing requirementsSupport the management of supplier relationships (including scorecards, internal metrics, and inventory control)Assist as needed to ensure suppliers are held accountable for meeting continuous improvement initiatives both from a strategic and tactical perspective, including lead time reduction, flexibility to schedules, quality improvement, inventory reduction (entire supply chain), and cost reduction on a year over year basisMake recommendation that support cost initiatives that can be through the business unitRepresent the SC function in local business discussionsSupport enterprise initiatives and global sourcing strategies for a range of commodities; ensure those are migrated into the existing supply chain with minimum interruption and maximum cost reduction. Review and ensure that the appropriate financial metrics are monitored and that proper fiscal controls are in place to maximize cost savings throughout the functionIn coordination with the Interiors SC initiatives and std work Lead performance improvement programs throughout the supply chain using overall leadership experience; play a key role in the implementation of continuous improvement techniques throughout the organizationAdheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting od observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.Reporting Relationship:Director, Supply Chain
