As an Associate Director, Project Manager in Professional Services, High Tech group reporting to the Senior Director, Professional Services, you will play an instrumental role within the Model N Professional Services Organization. You will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, management and coordination of onshore and offshore project team members, as well as partnering across internal organizations, customer stakeholders and third parties to meet internal and external project success criteria as well as deliver projects on time, on budget and meeting customer and Model N quality expectations. Additionally, as a Model N Associate Director, Project Management and member of the Services PMO, you will be a key contributor to Model N’s commitment to continuous process improvement. You may also be called in to support the Sales team in pursuing key opportunities and responding to RFP requests where you will be considered the Subject Matter Expertise in Model N implementations.
Responsibilities: Lead a cross-matrixed team of technical and functional specialists, responsible for implementing the Model N enterprise software solution for our Pharma and Med Tech customers. Embrace and leverage the mantra and culture of “Delivery Excellence”,leveraging a proven implementation methodology, best practices and independent thinking. Parter with our internal teams (Prod Mgt, Prod Dev, Cloud Operations, SaaS Team, Support) to deliver a unified approach to our customers, allowing the customer to maximize the value of our solution. Develop customer relationships and position oneself as a “trusted advisor”. Be creative, think out of the box and drive projects from beginning to end. Drive project management that includes: Managing a tight project budget and forecasting Stating allocation, mentoring and leadership Own and manage project scope, objectives, execution plans and risk management. Partner with Model N Sr. Directors to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Contribute to the ongoing improvements of the PMO practice including tool development, methodology refinement and promoting best practices. Deliver projects,on-time and on-budget. Manage and implement the operational process and procedure associated with project planning, tracking, reporting and quality assurance. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field · A minimum of 8+ years of experience in the role of Project Manager demonstrating increasing responsibility and successful management of complex enterprise software implementations,such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Siebel, etc. · Experience leading enterprise software implementations using Agile Methodology with varying size and complexity. · Experience in Consultative, Customer-facing Project Management roles, ideally supporting globally located teams and involving third party partnership. · Certification as Scrum Mater (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or other Agile relevant certification · Experience is supporting Sales cycles for key opportunities is a plus. · Project Manager certification preferred (PMP), is a major plus. · Experience with the Life Sciences industry is a major plus. · SFDC knowledge a plus. · Ability to travel as required (25% expected)
