A segment within the Power & Controls business unit, Environmental and Airframe Controls System (EACS) is seeking an Associate Director, Value Stream Leader professional with knowledge and technical expertise in Program Management and Value Stream Leadership to lead the Perigon® technology development. Perigon® is the next generation flight control and vehicle management computing solution offering advanced computing power, open-system architecture and flexible configurability supporting future needs across a broad range of applications.The role is highly visible and dynamic. Internally, the VSL will be managing the development of a large complex architecture and the implementation of the technology across multiple market value streams. This person will regularly be responsible for interfacing with and reporting up to executive levels in the organization. Externally, the Value Stream Leader will work with Business Development to market the technology and harvest customer and market growth opportunities.Primary Responsibilities:
Accountable for the overall success of the Perigon® Product Line development and the strategic implementation of the transition of the product variants from the design and flight test phase into a high-rate production program.Leads the Product Line Integrated Program Team (IPT) to ensure adherence to development program plans, schedules, and budgets.Develop the goals, strategy, and vision for the Perigon® product line and technology roadmaps including pursuit plans and how it inputs into the Strategic & Financial Plan. Partners.Collaborates with Market facing value streams to align product technology roadmaps with long term market needs.Accountable and responsible for the management of key financial elements of the program(s) P&L to ensure business unit's profitability objectives are met including the management of risks and opportunities and respective mitigating action plans and harvest opportunity activities.Develop and maintain collaborative and responsive internal relationships within the program, and external relationships with functional partners.Effectively communicate with multiple levels of management on program execution status and product line roadmapsQualifications/Experience Needed:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
