General Description:
The Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) team is an aligned portfolio strategy, project management and systems team that is a strategic driver of project and portfolio strategy, prioritization, delivery, decision-making and risk/value management.
The role holder will drive the delivery of R&D portfolio strategy, reports, analyses, assessments and insights in the context of the early and late-stage portfolios as well as commercial. The analyses and insights will drive delivery of business objectives for the R&D/commercial portfolio supporting and informing planning and decision-making by executive leadership & governance.
Essential Functions:
Portfolio Strategy & Reviews: Contribute to portfolio strategy, reviews and prioritization with cross-functional partners according to company business calendar cycles to executive management & governance. Leading the design of content, providing consultation and organization on informing strategic planning documents, portfolio reporting, governance templates, and procedures.
Business critical communications: Shape presentation content covering scientific, operational and strategic material for the purposes of internal and external events. Designing and optimizing visuals and charts, formatting, branding and enhancing presentations for senior leaders. Translate and interpret company information into compelling presentations representative of the company’s vision and tailored to the specific objectives for the business event or audience.
Advance best practices for presentation design and bring design consistency across the organization for business and governance communications and reporting.
Required Education:
BA/BS Degree is required; MA/MS is preferred.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 + years’ experience in clinical and drug development in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry or
Master’s Degree or above with 6 + years’ experience in clinical and drug development in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
Thorough knowledge of drug development & commercialization and familiarity with pharmaceutical portfolio strategy development.
Proven ability of strategic thinking to make sound judgements and decisions.
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain efficient connection with Sr. leadership team and global functions. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive work relationships to effectively interface at all levels across the organization.
Demonstrated strong leadership, influence, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to execute and perform autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in written and verbal English.
