The US Business Development team is a uniquely positioned team that supports our core four Publicis Media agencies Publicis Collective, Spark, Starcom and Zenith. The Associate Director of US Business Development for our Luxury vertical is a pivotal member of this team. We ask that you have a proven ability to showcase strategic leadership and execution of operational best practices. This role requires a thorough understanding of Publicis Media, capabilities, teams, tools, and offerings, as well as agency-specific capabilities, teams, tools, and offerings across the Publicis Group. We need someone who loves to tackle new obstacles, collaborate across agency teams, has original and new ways of operating and can proactively identify needs, build solutions and drive change across our ways of working.
In this role, it is imperative that you can work in compliment with multiple agency teams with preferred ways of working. Reporting into the US Business Development leadership, you will also work alongside agency teams to assist/lead the development of pitch presentations, materials, and communications to deliver new and organic business acquisition to deliver on our aggressive growth goals. We’re looking for an ambitious individual to fill this role – someone who isn’t afraid to share their ideas and opinions within a supportive and collaborative work environment.
This role is unique as it drives best practices, thought leadership, and innovation across all agencies with a specific focus on the Luxury category. Rather than working for a single agency, our work impacts all of Publicis and has close ties with Publicis Growth Operations. The Associate Director can help us define and execute our roadmap, team priorities, and lead content outputs that directly influences all US PM Business Development. Self-starters, people who are naturally curious, are comfortable working in grey space, have mentorship experience and those who are willing to travel are successful in this role.

Your Impact:
Lead and organize pitch teams in answering RFI/RFP questions, chasing responses, editing responses, and preparing pitch presentations
Manage and motivate the pitch team while guiding and enabling pitch timelines, checkpoints, accountabilities, deliverables, design, commercials, and travel needs
Collaborate and lead communications with local, regional, and global teammates, stakeholders, departments, and agencies
Establish strong, collaborative connections with client and team members to work seamlessly together.
Foster cross-functional relationships to collaborate and deliver solutions
Build relationships with executive leadership and delivers executive-facing polish in both work ethic and in content creation
Actively participate in presentation rehearsals by preparing presenters, ensuring key message points are hit and the pitch “story” is clear, concise, and strategic
Identify new ways to drive innovation and efficiency within the pitch process and amongst the team
Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in either media, business development, account management, project management or marketing
Bachelor's degree
Solution-oriented – ability to solve problems and identify solutions both independently and in collaborative group settings
Team oriented – with experience working and managing across multiple teams
Passionate about working in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented – with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions, ensure accuracy of outputs, data, and storylines with the expectation for high quality of work every time
Strong communication skills – Manage strategic written and verbal communications with a keen focus on soliciting feedback and driving consensus. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Ability to establish productive working relationships and champion collaboration and discussion
Advanced content development skills with extensive PowerPoint and Word experience
Exposure to and activation experience in Business Development is nice to have but not required
Ideally have work with premium and / or Luxury brands
Travel - Open to travel opportunities

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $144,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
