The Associate Director, Partnership Management, FLEX Partnerships will report to the Director, Partnership Management, FLEX Partnerships and will partner closely with multiple stakeholders including members of the Partnerships team, external Providers, GD functions, Finance, R&D Procurement, R&D Quality and other R&D stakeholders.
This position will be involved in managing communication and implementation of the One Delivery FLEX Model. The role will work closely with J&J Global Development business partners, FLEX providers and R&D stakeholders to support the strategy with the provider relationship. The role will serve as coordinator of the day-to-day strategy related to resourcing and FLEX resource onboarding and training.
Principles Responsibilities:
Involved in managing the day-to-day resourcing needs of GD stakeholders, in close partnership with the One Delivery FLEX providers. Further supports execution of resource needs via the respective tools/systems (1-Supply; FRM; OPR; etc.)
Collaborates with GD stakeholders/customers to understand their current and future FLEX resourcing needs; supports development of long-range portfolio strategy aligned to workforce planning.
Leads and/or participates in projects related to the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the One Delivery FLEX model.
Manages to resolution issues/escalations raised by GD stakeholders and/or the providers. Escalates as appropriate to manager.
In collaboration with FLEX Partnerships team, provides support to the FLEX Playbook updates and trainings, furthering supporting Community of Practice (CoP) meetings ensuring the leveraging of existing tools, instruments and processes.
Supports execution of geographic optimization strategy in collaboration with GD stakeholders and providers.
Drive metrics collection and business intelligence processes facilitating the decision support processes with GD stakeholders. Anticipates problem areas, opportunities and threats through global heat maps/footprint.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
An advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
Proficient in adapting to various required tools/systems to drive strategy is required.
Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict, influence teams across functions, and to build relationships in meeting organizational objectives, without formal authority is required.
Candidate should be agile and able to adapt to evolving business priorities.
Knowledge of supplier processes and contracting in either a deliverables-based model or functional-service provider model.
Ability to work in a global matrix/remote environment is required.
Must be fluent (speaking and writing) in English

The anticipated base pay range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA is $136,000 - $234140
The anticipated base pay range for this position in all other US locations is $118,000 - $203,550
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
