The position is preferred to be located in the PA/NJ area, but other location within the US will be considered. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

  The Associate Director of Partnership Management reports into the Partnership Director supporting, enabling and connecting our clinical project teams with key strategic suppliers. The focus with these supplier partnerships is to put in place formal governances, goals and objectives, and communication channels for the partnerships to succeed. This role also provides alliance related guidance to internal and supplier clinical teams to aid in improved partnership behaviors, performance and growth.

  Principal Responsibilities:

  Drive the day-to-day oversight of the partner relationships to ensure adherence to the goals, vision, and contractual obligations, such as KPIs and other category metrics.

  Monitor project timelines, in conjunction with GD study teams, to mitigate issues efficiently, identify risks and work with partners to find solutions.

  Become a champion for the partner and an authority about partnership activities to fully enable to partner's success and to avoid potential liabilities.

  Organize, lead, and participate in regular meetings of the operational and executive committees that assess successes and challenges.

  Design and implement an appropriate process to investigate and resolve issues that will arise during the partnership.

  Serve as GD point of contact for service delivery escalations; Function as liaison to supplier counterpart in managing expectations of service delivery and contractual issues.

  Build relationships with team members across a matrix environment to resolve operational problems that may arise in development, finalization, and implementation of the activities.

  Build relationships with partner team members at all levels to drive synergies and efficiencies; Collaborate on concepts that streamline processes.

  Qualifications

  A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a scientific discipline or equivalent work experiences is preferred.

  At least 10 years of relevant industry experience including clinical research and alliance/partnership management in the clinical operations environment is required.

  Demonstrated leadership and project management skills with a successful track record of working across functions within a global environment is required.

  Able to show dedication and willingness to challenge the status quo. Able to run change positively and sees change as an opportunity to improve processes and tools is required.

  Persuasive communication and presentation skills to share ideas clearly across many levels or the organization is required.

  Strong people skills that will engage partners from all levels and influence decision-making in a global, matrix environment is required.

  Demonstrated experience in creating, driving business relationships with effective communication, coordination, and targeted deliverables, outcomes, and follow-ups is required.

  Demonstrated confidence and competence in comprehensive stake holder management and team management to drive to clarity of responsibilities, practical issue escalation and aligned decisions through the influence and collaboration with multiple, matrixed functions is required.

  Established experience with understanding and successful project delivery in a global, highly matrixed environment is required.

  Must be proficient in speaking and writing in English (fluent level).

  The anticipated base pay range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA is $166,000 - $267,145.

  The anticipated base pay range for this position in all other US locations is $135,000 - $232,300.

  The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

  Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
