The Associate Director, Omnichannel Strategy serves as the empowered strategic interface between brand teams and the Digital Lab. Sitting within the Omnichannel Strategy team of the Digital Lab, this role functions as a fully integrated member of the brand marketing team. They serve as the representative of the Lab embedded with the brand, and voice of the brand to the rest of the Digital Lab. This role will primarily support an Oncology pipeline brand during launch planning for HCP and Consumer customer segments, as well as post-launch.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable to develop and maintain omnichannel and digital marketing strategies (Omnichannel Blueprints) aligned to the strategic imperatives of the Brand. Authored in close partnership with Digital Lab Omnichannel Capabilities Strategists.
Strategically Lead and Manage cross-functional working teams to drive omnichannel marketing aligned to the overarching blueprints of the brand. Key teams include:
Brand Pod Teams. Cross-functional teams responsible to drive omnichannel “business as usual” (BAU) for the Brand. Inclusive of the Digital Lab owned execution and other functions like MABI, Performance Operations, etc.
Serve as Digital Lab Engagement Lead to brand and business unit leadership, ensuring that Digital Lab efforts are aligned to brand priorities and ultimately exceed the expectations of our colleagues.
Leads the application of Strategic Lab Capabilities into the Brand.
Serve as brand steward to the rest of the Digital Lab, providing deep brand strategy knowledge, expertise, and leadership.
Competencies and Qualifications
BA/BS in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred. Or comparable degrees.
7-10+ years of relevant digital marketing or omnichannel marketing leadership experience developing strategic approaches to drive growth, improve customer experience, and/or increase operational efficiency
Account Management skills. The ability to represent and lead multiple teams within a broad digital marketing center of excellence.
Communication skills. The ability to convey simple and effective stories around strategies, tactics, results, and data.
Program Management skills. The ability to oversee and drive a portfolio of projects and initiatives across multiple functions.
Core Marketing skills. The ability to understand brand strategies and tactical plans.
Digital Marketing skills. Demonstrated experience with digital / multichannel / omnichannel marketing, including: websites, email, social media, mobile media, search, display, etc. Including measurement and optimization of these programs and tactics.
Preferably within Pharma, agency, or brand.
