Associate Director, GSC Cybersecurity (Remote)
Role Overview:
The Collins Government Security Compliance (GSC) Associate Director of Cybersecurity ensures the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the Business' classified information systems. In this capacity, the GSC Director of Cybersecurity reports to the Collins Managing Director of GSC Security. This position is responsible for leading and providing oversight to the Collins Cybersecurity Team to ensure alignment with the business' Security Core Capabilities, vision, mission, strategy, and goals.
Responsibilities include oversight and leadership of the classified Cybersecurity program at all Collins facilities, including subsidiary locations; providing senior level liaison with various external and internal customers, ensuring consistent enterprise messaging and collaboration; ensuring continuous communication and collaboration with the other Collins Core Capability leaders to facilitate the effective safeguarding of classified information systems.
This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain subject matter expertise in classified information systems; effective leadership capabilities; uncompromising integrity and ethics; and a demonstrated ability to deliver global security excellence.Responsible for the implementation of, and compliance with, all Global Security Services and customer policies, standards, processes, and systems relating to classified information systems.Provides Information System Security support to National Security (classified) computing environments.Cyber security includes protection of the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of user data. It uses physical, technical, and administrative controls to accomplish these tasks.These protections apply to data in transit, both physical and electronic forms as well as data at rest in various types of physical and electronic storage facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.Must be okay with 50% travel.

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
