KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Development to join our Audit Technology organization.
Responsibilities:Oversee business development and support in Azure and .Net based pursuits including proposal preparation, presentation, and relationship management; collaborate with industry / business subject area professionals, software engineers, and technical leadership as part of a dynamic, distributed, and fast paced project team to design and build elegant, high-impact business applicationsDefine best practices for all integration services, including but not limited to Azure, SQL Server, and SharePoint applications; identify and assess opportunities for custom applications and evaluate capacity savings, complexity and tool that can be used for proposed solutionFacilitate client discovery sessions to define project scope and requirements, and translate business processes to functional specifications and user stories; assist internal customers in developing automation strategies and roadmaps; lead the build, test, and delivery of Azure and .Net based solutions using industry leading vendor technologiesContribute thought leadership to the development and evolution of our practice methodologies and intellectual capital including publishing articles, whitepapers, or performing research in support of firm initiativesBuild roadmaps for business areas to increase efficiency and quality and process improvements that includes Project (automations) life cycle and vendor managementManage risk and security assessment and facilitate user acceptance testingQualifications:Minimum eight years of recent experience in technology development, engineering, project management, business process, process delivery and/or information systemsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, applied statistics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline with specialization Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with clients at multiple levels; ability to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skillsAble to understand security architecture and firewallsDeep experience with CI/CD tools such as: GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Azure/AWS/GCP DevOps; strong sense of quality, and sharp engineering skills; solid computer science fundamentals with the capability to understand product requirements and translate them into technical subtasks (200TEC)Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
