Finance Data Analytics & Business Intelligence is looking for an Associate Data Analytics Analyst in the Puget Sound area (Renton, WA or Everett, WA) to help us extract valuable insights from our vast data sets.
The ideal candidate will
Have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, or data visualization
Be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to drive informed business decisions and help improve overall performance
Understand the importance of collaboration with team members while applying greater efficiency and creativity to build a strong data analytics foundation within the finance community
Position Responsibilities:
Work in a dynamic organization and build working relationships with various functions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define key business objectives and data requirements
Gather, cleanse, and transform large data sets from various sources
Develop and implement applications, and techniques to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, correlations, and process inefficiencies.
Create and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
Apply data automations to existing manual processes
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve business processes and performance
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and apply them to enhance our data-driven decision-making capabilities
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence
Experience working with large data sets required (e.g. advanced, Excel, PowerPivot, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with programming languages
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Shiny, Power BI)
Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strong language skills in SQL, REACT, Python, R/Shiny, Tableau, or experience
Strong databases skills working with SQL Server or Teradata
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $76,000 - $84,500
