Description
We are looking for a talented Associate Contracts Manager to support our rapidly growing Buy with Prime business, a new service offering that enables merchants to offer Prime shopping benefits of fast, free delivery and trusted checkout on their own ecommerce stores.
Key job responsibilities
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements on an as needed basis
Identify key risks/gaps in underlying contracts and recommend changes to mitigate risk
Respond promptly, accurately, and crisply to business requests for legal advice and escalate appropriately where required
Develop and maintain: contract templates, training materials on contracting, confidentiality, company policies, standard operating procedures for contracting processes and track associated metrics, and other legal resources
Support the continuous improvement of contract templates and processes impacting our legal team and the businesses we support

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of contracts management, transactional paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department
Preferred Qualifications
In-house contracts management experience is a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many simultaneous workstreams, clients, and projects under tight deadlines
Strong analytical and computer skills
Sound and practical business judgment and common sense

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
