As an Associate Contracts Administrator you will support the centralization and management of 3,000+ Winery and affiliates contracts, to include, but not limited to, Co-Manufacturing, Domestic and International Distributors, Global Sourcing, Information Technology, Domestic and International Marketing, and Sourcing. You will support direction and oversight all activities involving preparation and monitoring of contracts including management of the contracts system repository and metadata.
What You Will Do:
Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems.
Participates in the maintenance of computerized files for future reference.
Participates in contract preparation.
Maintains the file systems for document types such as master documents, project documents and notifications.
Monitors all contracts throughout the process and initiates all follow up communications.
Reviews project information and determines the appropriate document set required for each specific transaction.
Supports the contract work-flow/review process with the goal to improve contract compliance through a standardized process.
Determines the routing path for specific contracts (i.e. Legal review required, Vendor input required).
Facilitates contract issues with business, compliance, legal and outside lawyers and contracting parties as necessary.
Performs comparisons of documents. Proofreads and finalizes legal documents.
Maintains a file system for document types such as master documents, project documents, emails and notifications.
Supports with direction and oversight the entire contract process, to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Makes customers and their needs a primary focus; develops and sustains productive customer relationships; uses information to understand customer’s circumstances, anticipate issues/problems, expectations, and responds quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems.
Informs management when confronted with a problem or when made aware of a situation that needs attention without prompting.
Participates in Winery contract process and procedure, effectively communicates process attributes to users, and secures organization wide process adherence.
Participates in awareness of contract importance, legal requirements, and necessary documents with designated customer base.
Supports department projects, as assigned.
Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of experience in contract administration, legal, or compliance or a Paralegal certification plus 1 years of experience in contract administration, legal, or compliance reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of experience in contract administration, legal, or compliance reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Computer skill requirements include: MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.
Previous office experience required.
Experience using discretion with confidential information.
Skilled in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience in contract administration, legal, or compliance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration plus 2 years of experience reviewing contracts, contract administration or engaging in the work of Paralegal reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Computer skill knowledge includes: MS PowerPoint, SharePoint and easily adaptable to other in-house software applications.
Experience working in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Strong collaboration skills and experience with working as a team player

Compensation:
Hiring Salary Range Posted: $23.61 / hr. - $35.43 / hr.
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
