  The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Contract Management Specialist to join the team in El Segundo, CA .

  In this position you will be responsible for the development and negotiation of proposals and contracts for the sale of commercial and government communications satellites to a variety of domestic and international customers. The position will also be responsible for the contract management activities following award, supporting the development, manufacturing, delivery, and operations of satellite programs.   You will be part of an experienced team that serves a dynamic portfolio of both commercial and government customers enabling the sale and delivery of satellites, satellite-related products, and satellite communication services. The team supports sales of existing products as well as sales of new technology development programs.   Position Responsibilities:

  Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements for The Boeing Company

  Summarizes contractual issues, develops creative solutions and leads coordination of contractual risk mitigation

  Exercises appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies

  Presents business solutions to address contractual challenges with an emphasis on managing risk and expanding the business

  Represents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers and builds strong customer relationships

  Coordinates and partners with other internal functional disciplines such as Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

  This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

  1+ years of experience in a business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Accounting, Supplier Management)

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  Experience in Space/Satellite systems

  Experience with government contracts

  1+ years of experience with proposal management, strategies development and/or contract negotiations

  1+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

  Typical Education & Experience:

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

  Relocation:

  Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Work Shift:

  This position will be for first shift.

  The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range: $72,250 - $97,750
