About this role
The team
The C&DR team is responsible for strategy, framework enhancement and day-to-day operations across the following compliance pillars:
Firmwide Policy Governance and Legal & Compliance Policy Oversight - Developing and maintaining the global policy framework to ensure BlackRock continues to meet regulatory and client expectations. Responsible for overseeing Legal & Compliance policy activities. Firmwide Compliance Communications - Developing and redesigning internal communications to ensure that the Compliance message is clear and engaging for all BlackRock personnel. Firmwide Compliance Training -Overseeing and advising on the annual Compliance training program at BlackRock. Partnering with HR and other training partners is critical to the ongoing successful delivery of the training program. Compliance Reporting - Engaging with relevant governance forums and Compliance senior management; responsible for ensuring that appropriate risk-focused reporting and management information is delivered in a consistent and reliable manner. Compliance Scorecard - Delivering a Tableau based dashboard containing individual, business and firmwide compliance metrics (e.g., personal trading, outside activities, gifts and entertainment, and monitoring and testing metrics; regulatory updates). Compliance Strategic Initiatives - Providing business requirements for, and partnering with technology teams on the implementation of, compliance solutions that deliver scale and efficiencies for the firm.
Role and impact
A successful candidate will join the Communications and Digital Reporting (C&DR) team, within the Enterprise Compliance function of Global Compliance. The aim of the team is to bring the key elements of the global Compliance communication strategy together within a single team, to enhance and scale the way in which Compliance engages with its stakeholders, senior management, boards and committees. This team is vital to the ongoing evolution and stature of Compliance globally.
The successful candidate will report to the C&DR team lead, will be based in Budapest, Hungary, and will interact on a regular basis with multiple groups across the globe in Legal & Compliance, as well as with teams from Human Resources, Risk and Quantitative Analysis, Corporate Communications and Academies Training.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with implementing a framework and controls enhancements and execute day-to-day operations for the reporting and scorecard pillars.Contribute to the enhancement of the compliance data governance, reporting and analysis program for Enterprise Compliance.Develop an understanding of Compliance processes and the firm's structure including the business lines to provide insight into the risks identified by management information (MI) and reporting.Act as a point of contact for advising on and resolving the MI queries raised by businesses and Compliance colleagues.Produce and disseminate Compliance related MI to Business Heads and COO's, relevant management Committees and Boards.Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of regular reporting to Senior Management.Support and contribute to improving and enhancing the structure of current MI to provide more meaningful information.Contribute to the development and execution of a strategic roadmap for MI reporting both within Compliance and to other channels (e.g., Risk and Quantitative Analysis).Work closely with functional and regional teams to incorporate proposed changes in the MI production and dissemination.Play a key role in supporting the transition and centralization of MI work within Compliance. Work to better integrate MI with reporting, business risk indicators, etc. outside of Compliance.

Given the large number of Compliance processes for which accurate and complete MI is needed, this role is significant. The candidate has an opportunity to be involved in global and regional initiatives and will receive on the job training, acquiring product knowledge and exposure to multiple teams.
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years of relevant experience in financial industry.Experience developing and delivering management reporting.Ability to synthesize, analyze and interpret data and convey key messaging for stakeholders.Demonstrated proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and developing macros.Database, Tableau (or other data visualization tools), SQL and/or Python experience.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to interact and communicate effectively - written and verbal - with senior personnel and other stakeholders.
