  Position Overview:

  We are looking for career-minded professional with global perspective to join the Mumbai based Client Account Management team. The role specifically supports the senior members of the Global Client Service, Account Management and Relationship Management team within MSIM Sales & Marketing. It involves support & coordination at different stages for client take-ons, amendments and screening related tasks. The primary responsibility of the role is to review Investment Management documents and ensure capture, maintenance & governance of MSIM obligations. The role involves liaising with various internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, Risk, Investment Teams, Operations, Sales, etc. and ensure tasks are efficiently processed through firm systems in a timely manner. Members work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.

  The individual will work with firm systems, databases and resources to source existing information, facilitate review of drafts of the documents and manage the process through to execution of the document. In addition, the individual will be responsible for maintaining language of any obligations in the firm systems.

  The successful candidate has experience in or knowledge of the investment management industry and experience with Investment Management Agreements.

  Key responsibilities:

  · Work closely with a dedicated team of professionals whose primary responsibilities are to manage new Investment Management Agreements & Amendments with a primary focus on MSIM Obligations contained therein.

  · Facilitating the review of documents, including compiling existing language, creating new language as needed by liaising with various internal teams and then reviewing the document to ensure high quality, error-free final product and to ensure all IMA Amendments are completed on a timely basis and logged to the firm systems.

  · Work with the Global Client Services, Sales, and Relationship Managements teams located in North America, Europe and Asia

  · Processing of amendment instructions received from client.

  · Screening of clients and individuals for negative news, AML checks, etc

  · Support with preparation of quarterly Board report materials for funds

  · General support to the regional client relationship team with query resolution

  · Contribute to ongoing quality and enhance efficiencies.

  · Facilitating resolution of system issues, enhancements and performing user acceptance testing (UAT)

  Position Role:

  Associate / Sr Associate**

  Key Skills and requirements:

  · Working knowledge of investment management industry

  · Bachelor’s degree – any documentation / paralegal background would be an added advantage.

  · Experience with Investment Management Agreements

  · Excellent project and time management skills

  · Strong verbal and written communication skills including proofreading.

  · Attention to detail & Problem Solving

  · Engagement and collaboration with various functions, stakeholders and individuals at all levels in the business

  · Ability to work independently, multi-task and deliver outstanding work products under tight deadlines.

  · Bachelor’s degree – any documentation / paralegal background would be an added advantage.

  · Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Documentation management system

  · Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience

  · Ability to be flexible, adjust to changing priorities and unforeseen events, and proactively adjust strategy and approach.
