Job Description:
Responsibilities
Exceed individual sales goals across new and existing, recurring and one-time revenues, KPIs and other sales-driven activities. Grow the assigned territory through new business development and maintain a strong book of business in the region.
Foster strategic and loyal customer relationships, partnerships and identify growth opportunities, retain business and develop prospect lists across all relevant industries for the Dow Jones suite of offerings - Risk & Compliance, Dow Jones Newswires and Factiva & Curation Services.
Support the region through mentoring and coaching of other team members and maintain a continuous learning environment by sharing best practices and important business highlights on a regular basis.
Identify, develop and execute strategic account plans for top clients, individually and support other team members with the same impetus.
Keep abreast with industry news and trends, the competitive landscape and maintain a record of customer feedback key to experience and product enhancements.
Provide support for a seamless working relationship among internal business partners and stakeholders across the organization.
Support the Regional Sales Director (RSD) on key business initiatives and important projects with business partners and stakeholders across the organization.
Act as the deputy to the RSD, and the voice for the region where applicable.
Requirements
A proven track record of strong business acumen in sales and business development.
Customer-centric, resourceful, creative and reliable in ensuring individual sales goals across revenues, various KPIs, and team activities such as sales events are accomplished in flying colors.
A seasoned individual salesperson and mentor to the team.
Excellent communication skills in English and one Asian language or more.
