• 8+ years of experience in payroll operations with in-house processing and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
• Excellent understanding of end-to-end US payroll processes
• Must have the ability to manage difficult customer communications and the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
• Ensures that timely and accurate monthly reporting information is sent to appropriate departments.
• manages and leads the payroll team with the goal of implementing best practices and building a world-class organization.
• Have a thorough understanding of internal controls as they relate to payroll functions.
• Mentoring people, monitoring processes, and insuring technology is leveraged to exceed customer SLAs
• Should be able to get the deliverables met by the team at the expected level or more.
• Should be able to review and finalize the RCA, ensuring occurrence is controlled and improvement is displayed.

• Bachelor's or equivalent and three to five related experiences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced knowledge of US and Canadian payroll laws
• FPC or CPP is a plus.
